7 He raises the poor out of the dust,
And lifts the needy out of the ash heap,
8 That He may seat him with princes—
With the princes of His people.

I find these verses so emotionally compelling. It is simply beautiful.
It reminds me of the movie Julie & Julia. She is childless, noticing children with their parents when walking in a park, or bursting into tears when reading her sisters letter announcing her pregnancy. The poignant bitter sweet pain tearing at her. God enters the most painful places in our hearts, like childlessness or ever present struggle to put food on the table. He is sensitive to our sorrow, he notices and becomes our comfort. He remains our companion as we travel life with the ache of loss and hardship. He can make us aware of his delicate provision, his subtle way of revealing his love for us. Like a dog inexplicably running up to us for a pat. The unconditional friendship displayed is God’s gift. My prayer for you is that you will become aware of the many ways in which God is revealing his love for you.
